Build a Landing Page
Landing pages are designed to capture lead information by guiding visitors (leads or patients) into taking a specific action. These actions typically include signing up for a consult or initial evaluation. Landing pages are a crucial part of the lead conversion process (turning a lead into a patient) but have many other creative uses, some of which we’ll cover in our Landing Page Best Practices article.
The number of allocated landing pages is subscription specific.
Building Your Landing Page
Let’s create a landing page. Check out this video, or follow the written instructions.
- Start by opening the Campaigns menu and selecting Content.
- Next, use the Create Content drop-down to select Landing Pages.
- Start by giving your page a name. Important: The name of this page is used to generate a unique URL slug. This cannot be updated once created, so choose wisely!
- Including a Description is optional.
- Custom Domains allow you to white label this landing page.
- You can choose to specify a service that this landing page is related to. Click here for more information.
- You can use the checkbox to designate whether this landing page is tied to a specific event.
- Click Next.
Landing Page Designer
Landing pages are composed of eight block types. All seven blocks are automatically included by default on each landing page. You can easily add, remove, or rearrange the block order.
Block Name | Description |
Logo | This logo defaults to the company logo that is uploaded in your user settings. You can replace this logo within the landing page designer and adjust its alignment. |
Hero | This block allows you to enter title and body text, a background image, and most importantly, a contact form! This is the only block that allows you to create and add forms. Click here for more information on forms. Note: When including text over the image, we recommend darkening the image and using white text. Otherwise, text over these image blocks can be hard to read. Images must be smaller than 512 KB. |
Text Row | This block allows you to enter heading and body text, and adjust the background color. |
Three Column Row | This block features three images with three corresponding text captions. You can also choose a background color. Images must be smaller than 150 KB. |
Image Row | This block allows you to add an image and text side by side. You can choose whether you want the image to appear on the right or left and select a background color. Images must be smaller than 256 KB. |
CTA Row | Create a call to action using header text, fully customizable button, and desired destination URL. |
Footer | This block allows you to enter text and select a complementary footer color. |
Video | Use this block to add a video. You'll be asked to enter in a video link from sites such as Vimeo, Wistia, and Youtube. You can set the video to fill 50, 75, or 100% of the screen. |
Delete A Block
- To delete a block, click on the block title in the Layout Blocks menu.
- Click the trash can icon in the right corner of the design window.
- Click Confirm to delete.
Adding a Block
Click the Add Block link next to the Layout Blocks title. You can add as many blocks as you’d like, though less is more.
Reordering Blocks
Click and drag to move.
Adding a Form
Forms can only be added to the Hero block. As a best practice, we always recommend making at least one contact method (phone or email) required. Click here to learn more about building forms.
Metadata
Metadata can be used in your Landing Page to provide information such as a title, description, and image to browsers and social media sites. Click here to learn more.
Detail Page
Once saved, you’ll be navigated to the Details page for this particular landing page. Here, you can find stats around the page’s performance for the selected date range.
Stats
These stats are the aggregate use of this landing page for the date range selected, for every distribution method (workflows or otherwise).
- Page Views: The number of people who have viewed this landing page (not unique).
- Leads: The number of individuals who have submitted the form (aka leads generated by this landing page).
- Submission %: The percent of viewers who completed the form and became a lead. Equation: Leads/Page Views.
- Patient Conversions: The number of leads from this landing page that became a patient (as defined by leads associated with a patient record that has an initial evaluation date within 45 days after the lead was initially created).
Details
You can find the URL to your landing page on the Details tab. This tab also contains information on the type of content, active workflows it’s associated with, and a preview of the blog.
Please note that any dynamic variables will contain placeholder data.
Submissions
This section displays the leads collected through the Form. You can see the lead name, when the lead was submitted, an associated email address, and phone number. Note, if any of these fields were not completed, the field would be blank.
Patients
This section shows you which leads have converted into patients.
